Finally my book on Doolin, Co Clare is in production. Much of the book is dedicated to the traditional music, song and dance of the area. There is also a chapter on the storytelling tradition in the Irish language. I will post extracts here when it's due to be published.

I am an orchestra teacher in Ithaca, NY and a professional violinist. I have a particular interest in Icelandic music and culture. I am working on a trip there in late March to study Icelandic music.
